So my friend tried to talk to Entertainment Earth and they told him that they would do a full refund of the figure if he sent back the figure. They would then do an investigation with the shipping company.

So, of course I told my friend said no. No. NO. They are going to refund me and then destroy the figure and never mention this again. No figure, no compensation, no nothing but trouble.

Then my friend called back and asked for a partial refund at least and not send the figure. I still wanted to display the figure.

The guy said 10% only. 10% of $37 was $5. What. WHAT. It's literally worth $20 being a lone figure. Why do I need to pay more then what it's worth?

I was disappointed. Extremely disappointed.

So my boyfriend upped up to help since he was in the background listening in.

He called the company pretending to be my friend. He talked to another phone guy. My boyfriend got 50% refund and allowed us to keep the figure.

The second guy we talked to was extremely nice! The first guy wasn't... The second guy even said that they aren't allowed to complain to the shipping company after they ship out a package. First guy lied to us about taking the figure back :/

I paid $18. I'm quite happy actually.

Now I have to go complain to the shipping company <_____>

So, you guys, did you ever send back a figure to a company? What did you expect them to do? What did they do afterwards?

theyasminshow7年前#1708453You know what's weird? I once got a piece of mail (it was paper, either an envelope or circular ad) that was a bit crushed and torn but it was placed inside an 'apology envelope' that basically said 'sorry for your mail being mutilated in transit, our bad.'
That was for a piece of junk mail. Where's the apology for when our packages get pretty much smashed?

A mutilated package with an apology inside? (That never makes it there LOL)

No but seriously, I'm glad you got the refund, even if only a partial, the hard part is dealing with everything else. :/

Well, shit. At least you got a partial refund.
But really that shouldn't have ever happened. Will there be a day when USPS does their job right?
