Hi! So I have received a defective Miku B-Style from Freeing and contacted GSC about it.
it was around 20th of February and they promised to send me replacements for the parts (I had very noticeable scratch on her face and some incooked dirt in one of her ponytails).

They told me that it should arrive in 30 working days.
And I still haven't gotten anything.

It is very weird, since that is not the first time I got replacement. Before I had issues with Snow Miku nendoroid and I got parts in 2 weeks. In 3 days it will be a month since I contacted them (but it won't be 30 working days yet).

Does it usually take so long or I should contact them around 20th?

Have you ever had your replacement parts lost on the way to you?

BlueRocketMouse8日前#121873984That could be it. I live in the U.S., but maybe Europe or Asia are faster. They've definitely never given me a hard timeframe like that. Only boilerplate messages about how they can't give estimates and to expect global delays due to Covid/shipping suspensions/Ukraine/etc.
For what it's worth, they did provide me with a tracking number when I asked. It takes a while (in my case, I didn't receive it until a few weeks after I emailed them and the replacement had already arrived by then lol) but it can still be worth requesting one if you're worried about it being lost in the mail.


I wrote them yesterday so I will wait for their answer. In case if they send it I will take your advise and ask for tracking code to make sure everything is OK.

So they were pretty solid about it coming around that time. But the clock is tickling and I haven't heard anything. I would be more safe if they would provide me with tracking code so I could see where the parcel is. But they don't do it so all you can do is to wait and hope.

Sh1rokage8日前#121871352I recommend checking your spam filter. For some reason for me they were always filtered out. If you didn't get any confirmation mail that's the most likely issue.
If you got a confirmation but never any response, definitely write them an answer. In the past they explicitly requested to be notified if they don't answer within a certain number of days. After 2 weeks it's definitely appropriate to nicely ask if there is any update to your request.


++++ to that. MY GSC emails are always going to my spam. So you should check.

If you got a confirmation but never any response, definitely write them an answer. In the past they explicitly requested to be notified if they don't answer within a certain number of days. After 2 weeks it's definitely appropriate to nicely ask if there is any update to your request.

Sh1rokage8日前#121869810I have already gotten several replacements from GSC since I made a habit out of notifying them about all major defects on their Figmas and it heavily depends. In the past it took a few weeks by Air Mail, although the customs in my country was the major holdup.
Once Japan Post Air Mail to Germany was suspended, they notified me that replacements will not be sent until the suspension is lifted. I waited over 2 month until they randomly gave in and sent it by EMS (->DHL in Germany) instead (transit 6 days). Another one after that was not sent for almost 3 months or so until I asked, after which they immediately sent it by EMS (transit 5 days). The most recent one was sent after less than one week of my initial report and is already in transit by DHL Express.
None of the packages have ever been sent out immediately after I received their response, so depending on how long it took them to actually send it out, it might not be in transit for so long yet. Additionally the transit duration will heavily depend on the shipping methods available to your country and if they use the default customs office or their own one (DHL Express).
So to summarize, it can vary wildly. If you haven't heard anything at all, just nicely ask them for an update or tracking number. I was never notified about the EMS shipments until it was at my doorstep. The most recent DHL Express parcel notified me immediately by mail, however that was DHL themselves, not GSC.

Honestly I'm surprised to hear most people here are able to get them in just a few weeks. Sometimes it takes me that long just to get them to respond to my messages.

And after this message I have contacted GSC about it. Because it was around that much my replacements for nendoroids came.

Spice_and_Cat8日前#121849655When counting working days are you going by jp ones? You can use the calander on amiami to get a good idea of what are the jp off days if you didnt know about it.

Well I did and it is still quite a lot of waiting for them to appear. I do not think GSC use Surface shipping for these things.
