    Thanks for the replies everyone!
So after considering everything I decided to go ahead and preorder them (sell my soul, dignity, shame, hope of ever finding an SO). Fingers crossed it will go smoothly :D
Still not sure if I'll open them though :/ I live with two room mates. Mind you they already think/know I'm a prev so they probably wouldn't even be surprised haha.

Ceci (1年前) #21541359Have to think about the angle they will see it from as well.

Seems kinda niche to be honest. There's nothing specifically lewd about their poses in silhouette and there's plenty of swimsuit or just regular clothing figures that would look similar via X-Ray.

If you're really worried about it (but personally, I think they'll be fine), Tanoshi Zone on eBay stores.ebay.com... often has pervy figures for sale. They are based in Melbourne, so they'd be doing all the importing for you.

Gandalf (1年前) #21539703X-Ray scan would only show the silhouette of the figures, not their general lack of clothing.
I think these would be pretty safe to order to be honest. The odds of them being opened is very low and an X-Ray is not going to show anything suspicious. It's also not an automatic assumption that these are offensive to a reasonable adult.

I've shipped some risque doujins across. Several times.

    I think you're fine

I've ordered cast-off figures and they got through just fine. The only time I have packages open from them is when I order gunpla supplies with a few kits. I have read forum post about how people here manage to get eroge with questionable character designs through customs and some that aren't so lucky. X-ray scans are often random and they only tend to put the biggest packages(bulks, multiple items) aside for x-ray scans.

One of the the things you have to keep in mind that importing pornography is illegal regardless if there is proof that the character/person is of legal age or not. They figures you linked wouldn't considered to be pornography but it might raise an eyebrow if it went though a x-ray scan since.

Echoing no problems and I've had quite a variety of material that would "offend a reasonable adult" haha.

You should have no problems at all!

I dont think youll have a problem, in general for figures and anime goods ive never had a parcel opened by customs so i doubt its something they target.

And even if they did i dont believe these figures are what theyre looking for, they arent young children, their poses arent THAT sexualised compared to some of them out there either. Theyre really looking for more pornographic type stuff under that section.

utena-sama (1年前) #21530082That's usually the case, but I did have a package from AmiAmi that had my Aoba scale in it opened for some reason so you can't be 100% sure :/ It should be ok though, I haven't heard of anyone on MFC having problems with Australian customs I don't think
That is really strange, I have no idea why they would have done that. I sometimes think it depends what airport or sorting facility the packages go to.

And you're right! Most of the horror custom stories I've heard have been from other countries. Usually European ones I think.
