For folks in Canada I heard Amazon JP is the best option since they have a DHL deal to discount the cost. So yeah, I'm in the USA, I will cry when paying my next orders... I will probably have to ship everything separate to ensure the smallest possible shipping fees.

Also worth mentioning that the DHL prices were recently discounted, like DHL was cheaper than EMS for several of my orders. It may just be returning to normal

I'm not blaming AmiAmi, but shopping at AmiAmi now means a larger price tag for shipping, so therefore I'll avoid shopping at AmiAmi. The end result is the same regardless of who is at fault.

But EMS, for me, has been more expensive or almost the same price as DHL most of the time. I live in USAI live in Canada and we don't have EMS back. They removed it at the end of November 2020 and it's still gone since then. The only options for us are DHL and FedEx (both very expensive and have guaranteed customs), and Air Small Packet Unregistered, but that has a size/value limit generally of 80$.

Is this only from Japan or everywhere? Because I literally just had a DHL package ship from China yesterday, and I paid $1140 for it as it is...

Doroshi • 8ヶ月前 • #103925673I've avoided buying large things so I don't pay with DHL, but this is ridiculous. Not only is DHL already damn expensive, add to that guaranteed custom fees and now what??? A freaking 17% increase? DHL officially becomes unaffordable.

Most Canadian aren't use DHL anyways, courier is too expensive plus there is pre-processing fee + custom.

Canadian shipping costs are so bad right now. Our Canada Post costs are going up as well. I expect by the end of this it'll be too expensive to ship anything lol.
