コメント the dreaded bottom shelf...

A lot of people just put figure boxes on their bottom shelf, but I have a couple of floating shelves a bit high up in my room that I keep my boxes laid on. I collect a lot of stationery items and don't really use my cute character notebooks anyway, so they're all on the bottom just facing outward so I can see the covers. Eventually I wanna get some large plushies to put on my bottom shelf and I'll move my notebooks to the top of my dresser maybe.. My younger sister collects Legos and her two bottom shelves are books and manga

I don't even have a figure shelf, I only have a small shelf but it's full with books.

I just put boxes there

I use the bottom shelf for the largest of figures, so they don't get "lost" by being on the bottom shelf... like Kirino (ITEM #254347) or Lord Ainz (ITEM #739714). Since they're so massive, they still draw the eyesight despite being "underneath" everything else. Kirino is kind of cheating though, because she takes up two shelves worth of the detolf but the point still stands.

This also prevents the bottom shelf from being the random "catch-all" shelf as well.

Laying down figures go perfectly on the bottom shelf, they are, afterall, best observed from above! I have 5 billie bookcases, 3 single, two double. The bottom shelves are currently taken up by:
ITEM #806117 in my central one (it catches the light perfectly!)
ITEM #872957 (NSFW warning!!)
And then the wide ones have pop figures that i'm still mildly attached to that survived the great purge. The last single's bottom shelf is currently a mini warhammer battlefield but I'm sure if I didn't have a dedicated madoka shelf ITEM #363705 & ITEM #360763 would look great down there ^^

I sell figures so it’s easier to put boxed figures on the bottom shelf.

I have 3 Detolfs on a 1x4 Kallax as a riser, so the bottom shelf isn't so much of an issue for me, but I still like to place my 1/4 figures there. The longer viewing distance is a lot less noticeable when the figures are so massive.

I don't see the problem with placing those figures out of sight. Every bottom I've met hates being the center of attention.

I put all my figmas on the bottom shelves. There’s a bunch so they fill them in completely.
I would like to have risers one day, but the top shelf is already at my eye level, so I worry if that’d make the cases too tall ^^’
