Colargantua8年前#1130374It is also huge: up to 73cm. (almost 30") in height. You may like or not the material: a stuffed canvas fabric roughly sewed with thick black threads, in which is placed a metallic exoskeleton (smoothly articulated metal stems) that allow Oogie Boogie to take several poses. The articulation only concerns the upper part of the body: arms, mouth and head top (multiple points). The body itself is not articulated since Oogie Boogie doesn't have a backbone (too big and stuffed to be poseable) nor than the legs which remains soft (too short, plus all the weight is hold there). It looks a bit weird if ever you display it aside of one of the 1/1 prop scale replica Jack skellington from Medicom, although it seems that Medicom did try to respect the scale between these figures. Indeed, the Oogie Boogie Miracle Action figure DX is a lovely figure, that could even seduce people not really fond of collectible toys/figure.

Yeah he does look pretty good (although as far as screen accuracy, NECA's figure and even the WDCC Oogie's face is better.) But he's still good. But this thing is over 2 feet tall.. I don't think I could possibly make space for something this big. if he's 2 feet tall, I shudder to think about how wide he is.

Another thing that concerns me is that, I'm assuming he is primarily made with burlap (considering that's what Oogie is supposed to be, a burlap-sack man)The problem is that Burlap degrades SO easily. So I don't see this collectible lasting very long unless Medicom treated it with something, and even then, it will only keep it together for so long
