Official new item , shipped worldwide from Japan
About 43 USD | 40 EUR | 58 CAD
In the end, pre-ordered her!

But in order to cut down the price to reasonable levels, I used the Figuya 5% discount ticket I got at the GSC booth at Japan Expo 2019, and made a group preorder with four Sword Art Online prize figures (most of them being of the EXQ Bikini Armor line, and all of them costing 29.90 Euros each - reasonable price IMO).

That way, I got a 8.23 Euro discount on the whole order. Paying 36.67 Euros before shipping for Priestess (40.25 after shipping costs, since I'm dividing the whole order's 17,90 Euros shipping costs between five figures) instead of 44.90 now feels much more palatable. :p

Kuji or simply translated, Lottery Figures, are not Crane Figures.

The listed prices is for a single ticket you can buy in supermarket stores from chains like 7-11 for example or in certain shops hosting the Lottery.

You tear open the seal of the ticket and will see right away which Prize you won.
The amount of prizes each category is fixed and a store will usually only have bought a certain amount of sets.
Which is why a lot of the lottery figures can gain in price after release.
Especially the last ones, which are won when you bought the last ticket for the lottery in a store.
There are even sites tracking the status of tickets sold in stores.

Crane figures are the ones where there is no open end on the amount you are willing to spend for a chance to win it at the machine. Or you go directly to a counter and buy the item you want for a fixed price there.

httpCasey1年前#62408710Kuji figures are won from crane games and the price listed on the site is the price for a ticket to play afaik. Generally the sizes are similar to that of a prize figure. So I would imagine with her sitting pose she'll be like 4-5" tall? thanks for that and wow that’s a freaking huge mark up... for a damn crane game

Onigiri691年前#62367255new to the figure scene I wanted to ask you what’s the kuji size? And why is the price on MFC set at 648 but in actuality is much more?

Eccmy1年前#62063569Ooof, completely missed that it's a Kuji, my bad.
Hmmm... Makes the decision harder, I rarely if ever roam in that figure realm, the only Kuji I bought was ITEM #158154 and that was as a gift for a relative, for 4000 yen at Mandarake a few years ago; it's a five-year old figure so I can't really judge today's quality, but I don't remember this one to be that great. If you or anyone else can share experiences of recent Kuji, I'll gladly hear them!

Kaneel1年前#62063424You have to keep in mind that this is a Kuji figure though, not a regular crane prize figure.
I remember seeing AmiAmi offering some of the recent Kuji figures on their page and they wheren't any cheaper being priced at 4500 yen plus shipping + taxes and custom fees

Eccmy1年前#62063422Anyone knows a shop that offers her for pre-order at a reasonable price?
'Cause Figuya does have it, but 45 Euros (and that's before shipping fees) is downright abusive. I love Priestess and want this figure, but, as it's a prize one, not for more than 30 Euros.
(I could play the waiting game and get her in the aftermarket after her release, but given the franchise's popularity and unless a manufacturer finally decides to make a proper scale -Phat, I'm looking at you!-, there's a risk she'll rise up in value).
