kriskittenSeems that every day your name is up there featured along the POTD. Thanks for bringing these beautiful images to my mornings. :) It's just too bad the sky blew out, but the image still looks great.

Thank you so much my friends :-)

@kuroken912: thank you so much for your great suggestions. I'm not a so good photographer... I'm still a true beginner! I'm going to improve my skill following your suggestions!! ^_^

Klon Solo Rei basta!
@MastraCustom: I meant the sky is overexposed, but kuroken912 has a good solution for that matter.

@Kibi: Photoshop isa possibility too, if you use a tripot you may combine the pictures. Die schwarz-weiß version sieht echt großartig aus!

Ah and congrats for POTD!:)

KlonLocation is good, the lights...somehow with that figure it works, but usually such a "white" sky i try to avoid. The question is how?
Well that's arguable if you consider it as an artistic touch ;).
(But I was taught by my photography teacher to avoid washed out highlights, so I tend to avoid "clipping" too <.<)

One suggestion would be to increase the dynamic range.
If the situation requires extreme range of highlights and shadows, the technique is called high dynamic range (HDR).
HDR involves software to merge two or more different exposures into one image. (Some cameras have the software built-in already)
As long as it doesn't look artificial, I think it's a useful technique to capture an image ^^.

Sorry, I don't understand well the meaning :-)
@Klon: do you mean you usually try to get different effect for the sky? I uploaded my pic exactly as I got it from my camera (just gave more force to dark tones, but didn't manage anything... I don't like to edit my pics giving artificial effects).
@Kibi: your version is very nice! congrats :)

And because I just had it open, I allowed myself to quickly lay hand on the pic - and I hope I didn't ruin it ^^° converted it into b/w for more drama! desmond.imagesh...
