I've been collecting figures since the mid-2000s, starting with a few Mai Shiranui figures and smaller gashapon trading figures, before I started to focus on larger scale figures (1/8 to 1/5), especially ones that feature castoff. Nopan (no panty) style figures are my favorite. If you like nopan figures, I encourage you to join the club called Nopan Nirvana (CLUB #1724). I'm the admin for it.
I also enjoy watching anime including serious as well as comedic or light-hearted series that feature elements of fantasy and/or sci-fi. Shows that include plenty of fan service are generally fine too.
